Waitangi day
We have been learning about Waitangi day and why it was celebrated then I found out it was celebrated because of the treaty of Waitangi/Tiriti o Waitangi. There were wars between the two country's because the two treaty's had two different meanings.
Kapai Seth! You have included some very valid points. The two versions of the Treaty certainly made it difficult to understand.
