 we are learning about perimeter and area we had to make object that are the same squared cm.

DLO Template:

We are learning to calculate the perimeter and area of shapes.

Our task:

Make two different shapes, using the unifix cubes, that have an area of:

1.  24 cm squared

What is the perimeter of each shape? 50cm₂

What have you learnt about the perimeter and area of shapes? The area can be the same even if the shape changes but the perimeter might be different.

Kupe and gaint Te Wheke Animation

 

We have been learning about the story of Te Wheke and Kupe.

We got to create a animation of this story. 

Hypothermia

 We have been learning about hypothermia so that when we go on camp we know what to do if someone has hypothermia and so we can be safe.

Heatstroke and Dehydration

 We have been learning about heatstroke and dehydration because this term we are going on camp to Arthur's Pass  and we wanted to learn about heatstroke and dehydration so we can stay safe.
